Dear Heather,
I know what you mean – still getting my land legs back..
What a treat to meet you on the cruise.
If you have an e-mailing list, please put me on it.
I would like to order your book, or can I get it at a book store?
Will be in touch.
Laura Rezk
I am so glad to find something on the internet that is positve for us Sage 4! My doctors are very positive but I am always looking for someone in my shoes. I was diagnosed in Dec and am currenlty in chemo with minimal side effects.
Hi Heather
Saw you speak in Lansing. Wow. Iwas excited to hear about the Block center. Just returned yesterday. What a wonderful place. I am also working with Dr. Mike, he said he was your Doc.
After I saw you speak, I knew my feelings of not being done with my treatment was ok.
If you do have an email list, please put me on it.
Hello Heather,
My name is Joy Caris, I am Helen Hamler’s step-daughter. I understand that you may know of her from your time spent with the Montcalm ISD. I am a senior at Vestaburg High School and the president of the National Honor Society. I am raising money for Breast Cancer at my school in the month of January. I originally set out (when I say I, I mean the National Honor Society) to raise $1,000 towards breast cancer. I wanted to do it in a way to get the whole community involved– a way that everyone– high schoolers, workers, the elderly, ect.,– could be apart of. During the month of January we decided that the best way to accomplish this mission was to use home basketball games as ways to involve people. We have several activities taking place: selling t-shirts, raffle tickets, selling pink ribbons, selling cotton candy, too. We have a had a few survivors speak already in the month of January and some of our slots are flexible an we are still in dire need of speakers.
Below is a list of home basketball games
List of HOME BASKETBALL GAMES:
GIRLS:
1/15 MPSHA
1/21 Ashley
1/23 Gratton Academic (Varsity Only)
*1/29 Montebella(speaker booked)*
I was wondering if you would do us the honor and speak at the Varsity half-time and perhaps stick around for a question or two afterwards.
I would like to know if one of these dates would work for you.
If you are unavailable, that is fine, but if this would work out we would be delighted and would be honored to have you speak to the community!
I know that your website acknowledges public as well as church settings. I have told other speakers that their story is their story- if it involves God- then so be it. We believe that each breast cancer survivor has his/her own story and we want to be able to have eyes to see what people have gone through.
Hi Heather! It was great to meet you a few weeks ago on the Breast Cancer Wellness Cruise! Thank you for gifting a copy of your book to me – I read it and really enjoyed it!
Keep up the good work – you’re providing hope to the rest of us who have been diagnosed with stage IV, metastatic breast cancer! YOU ROCK! XOXO Lori
